
Sheila Crockford is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker with extensive experience in both personal and professional spheres. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Missouri Southern State University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kansas. Having lived in Missouri for 24 years, she possesses a deep familiarity with the region and its communities.
Sheila specializes in providing individual therapy for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 21, as well as family therapy. She values versatility in her work and plans to broaden her scope of practice in the future. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based methods that support youth and families in navigating life’s challenges and building resilience.
Her areas of expertise include individual therapy for children and adolescents, family therapy and support, personal and professional experience with Autism, understanding and addressing personality disorders, and relationship building and advocacy. In addition to her clinical and academic background, she brings lived experience with Autism and personality disorders, which adds a layer of empathy, insight, and authenticity to her practice. Her work is centered on building meaningful relationships, advocating for clients, and providing support where it is most needed.
Outside of her professional life, Sheila enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, engaging in arts and crafts, and embracing solitude as a self-described hermit.
