Maddi Gilliam

Maddi is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in both Missouri and Kansas. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adolescents and adults. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology, and a Certificate in Clinical Psychology, from Missouri Southern State University. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kansas.

Maddi provides individual, couple, and family therapy services. She specializes in supporting women through the mental, emotional, and relational challenges that can arise throughout the parenting journey—from prenatal/postpartum anxiety and depression to the life transitions that come with children growing older and leaving home. She also specializes in working with individuals and couples navigating relationship concerns such as infidelity, communication difficulties, new parent stress, conflict resolution, and other significant life transitions.

In addition to these specialties, Maddi has also worked with individuals in an inpatient setting, facing mental health and substance use concerns, mood and personality disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and grief. Maddi uses a direct therapeutic approach to integrate evidence-based therapies including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to create a relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgmental space, where clients can heal, grow, and build resilience.

Outside of her work, Maddi enjoys spending time outdoors and going to the lake with her husband, daughters, and dog.
