Kristin believes that healing begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship and strives to create a space where individuals can show up as they are—without judgment, without needing all the answers, and without pretending everything is okay when it isn’t.
While her experience has primarily been with individuals ages 18 and older, Kristin looks forward to supporting adolescents and children as she continues to expand her practice. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, life transitions, low self-esteem, and other difficult life experiences. Her approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed. Kristin believes individuals are more than the difficult experiences they have had or the struggles they are facing. Together, they can recognize and build on their strengths, build confidence, develop self-advocacy, and develop practical tools to help them move forward.
Kristin has experience helping individuals better understand their personal journeys, explore the life experiences that have shaped them, and recognize how past experiences may continue to affect their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily lives. When appropriate, she supports individuals in exploring and processing difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of their individual needs.
Finding the right therapist matters, and Kristin believes every individual deserves someone who feels like the right fit. She welcomes the opportunity to connect and explore whether working together aligns with an individual’s needs, goals, and hopes for therapy.
