
Emily Dorland is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who provides compassionate, trauma-informed, and holistic care to adolescents and adults. She earned her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Missouri Southern State University, providing her with a strong foundation in supporting students with behavioral, emotional, and school-related challenges. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work from Walden University.
Emily offers individual, couples, and adolescent therapy, specializing in anxiety, emotional dysregulation, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship or codependency concerns. She provides affirming support for LGBTQ+ clients, helping them navigate identity, self-expression, and relationships.
Emily uses an integrative approach that includes Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Trauma-Informed therapies. She also integrates her experience as a certified yoga teacher and somatic approaches to help clients build self-awareness, regulate emotions, and foster resilience.
