Diana Collings is an LCSW and a member of NASW. Diana graduated from the University of Tulsa in Education with a BS in Education and a major in Speech and Theatre. Diana was continuously on the honor roll as she worked her way through college. During college Diana was a USO entertainer touring the NE Command (Greenland, Iceland, Newfoundland and Labrador). Diana’s first career was teaching public school and community college. Diana is licensed to teach 20 subject areas, including physics, mathematics, chemistry, speech and theatre, psychology, sociology, history, English, and anthropology, etc.

Diana’s next career move was to go back to university for petroleum engineering. She ran computer programs and worked on site as a student engineer. Life events occurred and Diana transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma in the graduate LPC program, while simultaneously majoring in computing science. Finding social work to be a better fit, Diana transferred to the University of Oklahoma MSW program. Diana earned membership to Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Diana worked with the Oklahoma City Bombing victims. She received her Level II EMDR training in 1997 with Francine Shapiro.

Diana has taught at NEO A&M College, Pittsburg State University, Crowder College, Missouri State University MSW program, OU MSW program. She is listed in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. Diana concurrently ran a private practice.

Diana was hired at the VA to do mental health and substance use treatment. Diana initiated the PCMH program, the Suicide Prevention Program, was the clinic lead for the CBOCs in Missouri and Oklahoma for the Fayetteville VAMC and was the Sexual Military Trauma Specialist for Mt. Vernon CBOC.

Diana retired from the VA and went into Community Mental Health for eight years. Diana specializes in trauma, divorce recovery, women’s mental health, depression and anxiety.

Diana enjoys learning and has focused on World War II history and the women heroes of WWII. She enjoys attending theatre and music venues. Diana values family and enjoys time with her son and terriers.
