Beth grew up in Alabama and has lived in different parts of the country during her lifetime. She has been a Missouri resident since 2017. Her journey to becoming a counselor includes Masters Degrees in anthropology (Cal State Fullerton), accounting (Univ of Arkansas) and counseling (Capella University). Her 35 years experience in the business world provides firsthand understanding into how the workplace raises issues such as diversity, communication, stress, self-esteem, and work-life balance.
Beth’s counseling experience has focused on trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, anger management, mindfulness, LGBTQIA+, grief, chronic illnesses, social wounding, body/mind/spirit alignment, and other mental, emotional, and physical challenges. Beth is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level I and II, and is trained in Internal Family Systems, sensorimotor, polyvagal/nervous system, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her integrative, client centered approach focuses on what fits the client and their needs. Helping others to find their own unique voice is her goal. Beth works with all populations, ages 10+ including individual, couples, and family therapy.
Outside of the office Beth is usually in nature with her camera. Gulf Shores and the mountains have always been her treasured homes. Southwestern Missouri has also taught her to be in awe of the prairie.
